This 2006 stallion is a great grandson to the legendary Two Eyed Jack. He is an own son to Twist of Blue Magic as well. This guy was well trained at the Minnesota Horse Training Academy. He is HOMOZYGOUS BLACK AND DUN! He can never sire a red based foal. He also carries cream and can produce dunskins, smoky grullo and double dilute duns depending on the mare. He is 7 panel negative, approved with APHA as well. We have not tested him for EJSCA.
HE IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST 1ST.... (read more) We will be using him this season for one more foal crop. May be available sooner if all mares earlier.
King has been used with us for a couple years now and its time to let another breeding farm use him. He produces very nice babies, good bone, and thick bodies. They are well mannered and easy to be around. He himself is good for a stud, but needs to have a firm handler as he is more interested in the ladies. We have kept him with geldings and another stud when he wasn't breeding and did well with the geldings. He and my other stud had conflicts at times, but overall were cordial with each other.
We are open to offers, with the ability to breed a mare or two a year if within reason. Reach out if you are interested and we can make something that works.
He has not been ridden in a long time, but was very well broke to ride at one point. Continue to use him as a herd sire or tune him up for riding and win some money or move some cows. We will not get more videos of him riding, please see YouTube video of him being rode from previous owners. He is easy to trim, load in in a trailer, and catch in the field. UTD on vaccination and worming.
His tail is usually up in the air, had a vet check it out and nothing obvious, maybe had EPM when he was younger. We are unsure, doesn't affect him as a breeding stallion and is not present in his offspring so we did not pursue further testing or x-rays.
