“Nemo” is a 13 year old Belgian gelding that stands 17.0 hands high. Nemo is personable, respectful, and loves attention! He has great barn, stall, and ground manners and is willing to live in or out. He stands to be groomed and pampered. He picks up his front feet with no trouble, we are working on him holding his backs up for the farrier the entire time. Nemo will hack out English, western or bareback and rides in a simple snaffle. This boy is suited for nearly any level rider, he will pick up all three gait and he’s like riding a cloud!... (read more) He has a lovely trot very easy to sit to and his canter is like butter. He is brave on and off of the farm, he loads, trailers and ties great. Nemo is a great trail mount. He will lead, follow, ride in the middle of a group or hack out alone. He is careful with his feet and knows where they’re at. Nemo handles hills, ditches, bridges, and streams with confidence. This big guy doesn’t know much about an arena but will gladly ride around one. Is he a great babysitter for youngsters, he is gentle but firm both in the field and bringing them along under harness. Nemo drives single and in teams, he is traffic safe and stops, stands and backs when asked. This is an all-around guy that’ll fit into almost any family.
