Armadillo is a 13yr old Grulla QH Gelding. He stands 15hh tall with a stocky build and a solid foundation. Armadillo is traffic safe and in fact safe of anything that comes in his path! We have ridden Armadillo in and out of the arena. He will walk, trot, and canter. Armadillo picks up both of his leads, he lopes nice collected circles, and takes a lead change! He is soft in the bridle, and collects himself nicely. Armadillo has a one hand neck rein, back up, and side pass. He will spin both directions and slide stop! He moves off of leg pressure and always rides around confident! Armadillo was previously in Texas working on a cattle farm. He has moved thousands of cattle from pasture to pasture, doctored, and worked the feed yards. Armadillo has also been on miles of trails. He will go out alone or with others. He’s been over the logs and through the water. He has definitely seen all types of terrain and will go wherever you point him! Armadillo is very willing and easy going. He is definitely a barn favorite around here and the first pick when someone wants to ride! It’s not to often you stumble across the kind like Armadillo.
