Apache is a 23 yearold Quarter Horse Palomino Paint gelding who is as sweet as they come. This guy is healthy, sound and an all-around certified good citizen. He has won barrel races at the county fair as well as western and hunter pleasure classes, gaming, poles and jumping. No buck, bolt or rear. He prefers women but will warm up to men. He has been on pasture retirment for 2 years, but would still be suitable for trail riding or for a young rider who wants a safe babysitter horse.... (read more) He has been with us since he was 8 years old and has never disappointed or let anyone down a day in his life. He must come with his best friend, Moonlight Sonata, a 3 year old petite Passofino Quarter Horse filly who is also sweet as can be. She was rescued from an abusive situation as a weanling and has such a big heart full of love and forgiveness for people. She also perfers women, but has warmed up to our very kind farrier and has taken a liking with him. She has worn an english saddle and pad and had light groundwork, but nothing too extensive yet. We have ponied her behind Apache and she devotedly follows behind him. Apache is 15.3 hands and Moonlight is about 14.2. Both of these horses are loved beyond belief and we are only selling due to unforeen family circumstances. We kindly ask that you submit vet and farrier references with your offer as we will only be placing them as a pair to the best possible home. :) We also have a Lancer English Jumping Saddle that can be sold with the pair for an additional $500.
