Meet Aria Solise, a leggy Arabian beauty. This kind, feminine mare is looking for a new human to call her own. She's been a successful LD endurance horse through mountains, rocks and snow. In addition, she knows her arena basics and is a smooth, floaty western type mover. Once you stare into Aria's liquid black eyes, you will be sure to fall in love!
Aria is currently in a training program and getting legged up for a successful transition to a new home.... (read more) She is working in the arena and on the trail, practicing connecting over her topline and moving forward through the hand with straightness and symmetry. She is content in the arena and is willing to go into frame and work off the riders seat. She would benefit from a rider that can help her understand her body better, even if the goal is just to make her a more capable trail horse.
Aria has seen miles of trails with various riders, from riding in the high desert through snow pack for the Rides of March, schooling with a youth rider through single track, and exploring the Tevis trails. She is a happy, capable outside ride, but can be a little insecure and would benefit from a rider that can "hold her hand" when she gets worried. We have been working on confidence building scenarios with her, including pushing the giant horse ball, crossing the regular and teeter bridge and canvas covered mattress. By using these tools, we are able to help guide her body and show her mind a productive train of thought to make her a more bold, capable thinker for problem solving scenarios!
Aria has good ground manners and no vices. She has sraight legs, a good back and conformation. This is an overall great mare that someone will really enjoy. Probably not my first pick for a brand new beginner, but a wide range of riders with horse experience that want to get out there and enjoy the adventure would really appreciate what this quality mare has to offer.
