Safe and kind Percheron mare. 5 years old and 18.2 hands tall, she is a true gentle giant.
Loves trail riding and isn’t worried about things that come up on the trail or in the woods. She’s really fun to ride with a nice extended trot and a quiet jog. She has a pleasant canter under saddle, but isn’t collected enough to do in a small space yet. Her favorite speed is the walk, and she would be happy to mosey along the trail all day.... (read more)
Everybody loves this sweet mare, and she loves attention, would stand with her head down and be groomed as long as you are willing. Even the barn cat picks her- and she is happy to have the kitty jump on her back and lay there and purr.
We have ridden her on miles and miles of trails and she has had lots of different riders.
She’s sound with no vices, and is happy to stay out 24/7, or she will settle right in at a boarding barn and stall just fine.
This sweet mare will make a wonderful lifelong trail partner or will be competitive in a mountain obstacle type setting. With some fine tuning, she would also make a lovely and eye catching dressage horse.
This mare is huge, a true 18.2 hands tall. Her temperament is really gentle and she has a great mind. Due to her size and just turning 5 years old, we recommend her for an intermediate rider.
She is also well broke to drive.
