"Rosie" 12 yr. old Bay Roan Quarter X Pony Mare that stands 13.3hhs, with a lot of shape to her. Rosie is an all-around mare that is perfect for so many different events. She is perfect size for the young kids to ride, but strong enough for an adult to step on and ride her too.... (read more) This mare has been there and done a little bit of everything. From trail riding, ponying colts, pushing cattle, and checking fences. Rosie has also been in parades, down busy highways, and she handles it all great! She is well trained in the arena. Rosie has good turnarounds, moves off your legs, a good stop, and a solid one hand neck rein. She has a nice walk, trot, and knows both leads. Not only does Rosie ride well in the arena, she has had a lot of outside riding too. We have taken her on lots of trail rides, and all types of trails. Whether it be creek crossings, logs, bridges, slippery banks, step hills, she handles it with easy. Rosie has been hauled to a lot of different trail rides, and has a lot of miles and exposures to different types of areas.
