Phoenix is an absolutely gorgeous 15.0 hand 12 year old dappled buttermilk buckskin. He is one of the most fun horses I have ever thrown a leg over. There isn’t a single thing this horse has told me “no” to doing. He has a heart the size of Texas and wants to please! Phoenix is a finished money earner on the head and heel side. He grew up on a working cattle ranch in Wyoming which really set him up to be the well versed mount he is.... (read more) Phoenix is one handy broke dude! He has all the buttons you could ask for; side pass, flying lead charges, lope 5 foot circles, open and close gates, spin, and you can do it all BRIDLELESS if you’d like! I have started a few colts off of him and he will get right up in the middle if he needs to and isn’t afraid to be tied off to a rank one. Phoenix is easy to lead, load, stands tied, is good for the farrier, grooming, bathing, etc. He is ready to haul on barrels and has a good start on poles as well. Phoenix has a huge motor but will happily ride down the trail alone or with a group as well. Phoenix is the same no matter how long he sits and has zero buck or goofy to him. My son can ride him by himself in the round pen but I am NOT selling him as a young youth/beginner horse due to how light and responsive he is. Phoenix is current on teeth floating, worming, shoes, and vaccinations.

Gehring Performance Horses

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now. We take pride in offering high quality performance horses as well as family friendly trail companions. Everything that steps foot on this place has to be 110% safe under saddle as well as on the ground because my little boy thinks they all can be drug around the same as his ponies.... Our horse are never just arena horses, they are ridden on the roads and through town, by multiple riders including my toddler, are hauled everywhere to ride because there is no riding facility at my place with all the rock. My son loves to lead them around on foot, on his bike, or even from one of his many battery operated vehicles. A great mind no matter their job is always our first priority!!
