Here is a very gentle, older halflinger mare needing a good home!
Her coggins call her 18.. I would call her 20/21. She stands 14h.
She is gentle, was good to handle, and rode when I bought her by a small/young child independently. Said she works to, obviously she really doesn't need to be doing work.
She has one bigger knee... see the pictures.. probably as most Amish horses she has been worked hard her entire left and not taken care of.... (read more)
If someone wanted something to turn out, a companion, or just to offer a good home, she is truly sweet and easy going! She has good feet overall. She does need some top line, but again.. she is older...
Gets around pretty well in the field. Possible with some bute or previcox you could get some light riding out of her to lead the kids around on her, but I do not want to hear someone complain about riding her, so use your judgement on that. Just trying to find her a companion or easy going home...

We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
