Ok please for the love of god read the whole post before you message me. This is not a post that we want to make but do to medical issues with his rider sunny is being listed for sale. I can get you any pics or videos that you want can also be hauled to any field trail in sc or nc for trail.
Sunny AKA Southern Cheer
Sunny is a REGISTERED coming 10yo chocolate with flax mane and tail blanketed walkaloosa gelding. Sunny stands in between 15.... (read more) 1-15.2 hands. This is not your typical sales horse. Sunny was purposely bred and raised on our farm for field trails. He has never had another home or owner other than here but due to medical issues he’s up for discussion. Sunny does all the basics leads loads clips ties baths stands to be saddled and mounted. Sunny has been in the field trail world since he was a 3yo. I started him and Johnny finished him. If anyone knows Johnny you know he absolutely adores this horse and the bragging rights that comes with him YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANOTHER ONE AT A FIELD TRAIL AS PRETTY OR AS WELL GAITED. In the last 7 years sunny has done everything from being judged off to scouting to roading dogs to running dogs or riding in the gallery. Nothing fases him. He’s a horse that’s going to last you all morning and if you need to go for round two after lunch he’s there. No spook buck rear bite or kick stands perfect for the ferrier. My kids have ridden this horse during the summer trail riding along high ways and god knows what and he doesn’t skip a beat also been to a couple fun shows. Now with that being said I’m not offering him as a kids horse or your wife’s horse because just because my kids can ride him doesn’t mean your kids can. This is a work horse and he knows his job. Sunny has been to field trails all over va,nc,sc,ga,fl and Alabama. Anybody that knows or has heard of Johnny Atkinson has Probly heard about sunny. His only flaws that I can honeslty tell you is 1. He doesn’t back off a trailer he was never taught 2. This is not a pbr bull he doesn’t like people who like to get spur happy. He will ride with spurs doesn’t matter to him he just doesn’t constantly like to be gauged with them. Sunny has a decent price tag on him but for what he is and his color he’s well worth it. This horse is the walking text book for health he’s never been off a day in his like he’s never coliced or had any health issues takes a regular steel flat shoe up front. High ties it stakes out. He’s the first one to meet you in the pasture ABSOLUTELY NEVER been barn sour buddy sour or trailer sour. Last 3 pics are his side his dam and his price which is obo BUT do not message me with a low ball offer because I want even respond. As stated this is not something that we want to do BUT due to health issues sunny maybe sitting a while and that’s not helping him he’s a working horse and needs to be used. He has a nice 4 been gait and a smooth lope.
