Penny Camper aka “Greta” (after Greta Van Fleet) is a 15 year old AQHA registered mare with bloodlines from Doc Bar and Jameen Tivio.
She’s a strong, sturdy 14.3hh and loves to hit the trails. She has a very “yes ma’am” mindset and isn’t ill mannered or malicious about anything. She ties with patience to be groomed, tacked, bathed, and get her feet trimmed. She’s barefoot and sound!
Trails / pleasure riding are definitely her thing.... (read more) I’ve ridden her along the road, next to crazy dogs, through thick woods, around children, with other horses, and by herself. She’s happy to be a walk-trot girl and won’t take off unless you ask her to. She’s a western style ride with a loose rein, simple snaffle, and response to leg and voice queues. She’s a very intelligent and responsive mare and will take care of you if you treat her well. If you’re looking for an easy keeper who wants to go ride around the woods and have some cookies after, Greta is your girl!
