In her first race Dollar" fractured her sesamoid. After rehab she was fully sound and had a month of professional restarting under saddle. I purchased her and she was a great recip mare last year. The vet highly complemented her behavior through all the poking and prodding necessary to achieve the embryo transfer saying most horses are not so compliant. Dollar is hard to load in the trailer, partly because I have a normal size trailer and she is so tall and feels claustrophobic. But once in, she rides quietly. She needs work in order to learn to tie without pulling back. She is easy to bridle, but does not like worming medicine stuck in her mouth so we worm her with pellets. Apart from these things, she is an in your pocket horse that comes right up to you in the pasture and begs for you to give her a scratch and wants somebody to love on her. She is good with her feet. I do not have time to put any training on her but I think with a little bit of work she can not only be a good broodmare and recip mare, but also she can be an amazing riding horse.
