Lacey is a 2021 AQHA homozygous black perlino roan mare (EEAa Rn/n) that stands 14.1-2hh and is a great granddaughter of “Haidas Little Pep”!!! This is a breeders DREAM to own and she is already confirmed in foal to my homozygous dun grulla stallion “Stitched in Steel” for a 2025 baby! They will have a smoky Grulla (with or without roan) or a dunskin (with or without roan)!... (read more) This mare has tons of proven ranch and working horses too and bottom and the stud she is in foal to is my personal guy. Just about anyone can ride him. He’s one that can go in any direction. He’s roped a few out of the box, been used at the sale barn, knows the barrel pattern, and we do tons of other things with him! He is Jessie James on top and Jaz Poco Goldun Blue (little steel dust) on bottom!

Lacey is a dream to handle and is one of those that is insanely quiet and not bothered by much. She stands tied quietly, loads and unloads great, stands great for the farrier. She is not a super in your pocket horse, but still enjoys being loved on and is very easy to catch. She had a lot of standing tied, lunging, and ground work done as a coming 2 year old, but I never put more than a few bareback rides on her. So selling her as a broodmare only right now, but she would make a great prospect for someone!!

I have not had this mare 6 panel tested yet. The only reason I’m considering selling her is because I’ve got some future plans in the work and to be able to afford them, I need to sell a few mares. That being said, she’s not a must sell. If I can’t get a few sold, my plans just won’t go through.
