Kelsey is a darling paint pony that is built like a little brick house. She looks like moms big horse. She's been trail ridden extensively. She's been ridden in traffic, down the side of the highway, across overpasses, in rough terrain, through water and over bridges. The people she came from lived up in the mountains and she's had countless hours put on her there. She'll ride with a group or just as willingly alone. She's been ranch ridden and the kids can take to her to help dad gather cattle all day long.... (read more)  The kids can ride her out alone with no problem and help dad look for strays. The kids ride her in our roping pen to keep the roping steers pushed up the alley and to push the score cattle to the stripping chute. She's been ridden in a few parades. She's a great all around gentle pony that's gorgeous to look at and safe. She's good for the kids to saddle, bridle and mess with her feet. She has great feet and we have her shod because she's ridden on rocky ground a lot. The kids paint and decorate her, braid her hair, put glitter on her feet and whatever else they can think of and she handles all that just fine. Kelsey doesn't have any bad habits or vices. She stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls.
