Highly excited to offer the very best to kickstart a spectacular 2025! Here is the whole nine yards and a total dream horse.... (read more) Indigo is a true blue roan that is absolutely stunning and has a very versatile skill set. From excelling in multiple arena disciplines, ranch occupations, and a trusted mount out on the trails, Indigo will quickly be your number one, go-to, and most cherished partner. Plus, his gentle temperament and fun personality add even more to his charm. Originally trained for reining, Indigo has nice spins, easy lead changes, balanced circles, and deep stops. He is an elegant mover with graceful transitions and cruises around with forward ears and a happy attitude. This blue boy captures everyone’s attention and shines brightly in a crowd. He would be fun in the ranch classes and versatility events. Indigo is accustomed to lots of different terrain and surroundings. He has resided on our TX and AZ ranches. He’s covered big, green pastures with rolling countryside to the rocky, mountainous, cactus covered desert. He willingly goes right where you point him without hesitation. He has a good walk outside and a great, ground covering trot. Indigo is excellent out on the trails and cruising through town. He is safe through heavy traffic, tourists spots, waving flags and banners, bicycles, motorcycles, strollers, etc. He is brave alone and good with a group. He will confidently lead the way or happily follow behind. He is familiar with wildlife, crazy dogs, pigs, cattle, buffalo, and camels. Indigo looks absolutely grand in English tack and has been taken over small jumps. I believe he would excel in western dressage and equitation. He knows all the arena trail obstacles including poles, drags, bridges, and gates. He is good with gunfire, blowing tarps, and heavy machinery. Indigo is comfortable to ride and easy to sit. He is fun to ride bareback as well as bridleless. He also knows some fun tricks and is a quick learner. Indigo has been roped on in the arena and out in the pasture. He knows the ropes of ranch life and is more reliable and handier than a leatherman tool. Indigo is a people pleaser and wants to be good, always. He is a kind soul and bonds with his person. He has been ridden by children and handled that well. He is always gentle even with time off. He has no buck, bolt, rear, or silly business. Indigo has been loved and well taken care of. He is a special horse that deserves the best. I believe you would wear out a pickup truck out trying to find one like him. A horse like Indigo doesn’t come around often—he’s a rare gem!
