Conor is a 12 year old grade quarter horse gelding, super dark buckskin, 16.1 hands and big bodied. He lives out in a big herd of geldings, but has lived in a stall/run and thought that was great. I trail rode him a bunch this summer and had a few lesson clients ride him out too. He crossed water and wasn’t concerned about much. Led and followed fine. He has front shoes on here, but has been barefoot happily most of his life.
He’s taught w/t lessons for me in the arena but needs more schooling in the canter for most of my clients.... (read more) I get both leads on him and he tries hard, nothing naughty, just not super finished in the canter.
He is started on lateral work, and will go on the bit, just needs more strength. He’s a total sweetheart of a horse. Fly sprays, wears a blanket ect. He was a little tricky with the farrier initially, but has gotten better each time. Up to date on vaccines, coggins, deworming, ect.
