Hawkeye is an eleven year old registered quarter horse. He was foaled in Missouri and is branded with the Cross Spur Ranch and also another brand that I can't identify. I have had Hawkeye for a year. I have taken him camping many times and have ridden him all over our farm and the dirt roads. He does well with that but does better being ridden weekly. He is the first horse to come to me. He is a lover. He wants all the attention. He is also the alpha horse.... (read more) He has a very smooth lope. He has big beautiful hardy feet. He is an easy keeper. He is excellent with the farrier, wears no shoes, loads easy, and is used to dogs.
