*WHO*
Darco is a 16hh 2005 BWP Gelding who literally can do it all. This gentleman has comfy gates, spooks maybe 1x/year, doesn't take a lot of leg to get going, jumps anything, and wins everything. He is over 15, so we're offering him for a flat and/or flat with lower (.80) jumps to all levels - beginners welcome, too!

*WHAT*
Your 1/2 lease would include up to 3 days/week of riding, from which you can make all 3 lessons, or hacks, or training rides from our head trainer - you and her work together to come up with the perfect formula that can of course be adjusted if you're traveling or sick, for instance.... (read more) It also includes all tack, tacking up and grooming, food, and vet bills, and takes place at LKH Equestrian in Malibu, a full boarding and training haven designed for riders looking to excel quickly, have fun, and enjoy top-tier facilities (with trails!) in a down-to-earth atmosphere that puts horses first. You'll experience a personal, hands-on approach and truly supportive community that gets top results. The only thing not included in your lease is 1/2 contribution to his shoes every 6-8 weeks.

*WHEN*
Ideally, your lease will start at the very beginning of 2025 and last for 1-year minimum, which means if you're as excited as we are about Darco, you'll reach out ASAP for a trial ride. If, for any reason, you may need a slightly shorter term, we may be able to work with you on a 6-month timeframe, which we can discuss at the trial. If on the rare and always unexpected occasion your horse gets hurt during your lease, you would have the option to cancel the lease with 30 days' notice.

*WHY*
A few scenarios could lead you to Darco, such as being a beginner and wanting to learn the ropes and excel quickly. Or, perhaps you are more experienced but at a point in your riding where you want to ride something totally reliable and fun. One more possibility is that you are already riding at a place but maybe feel dissatisfied with the quality of horses, horse care, leadership, or general vibe. We've welcomed equestrians for all of these reasons and more!

(2) Confirm in the email that the 1/2 lease offer looks good so far, such as is within your budget and commute.
(3) Propose the soonest 3 days and times you can come try Darco (the legend himself!)
