Colonel is an 8 year old registered quarter horse. His sire is Sanrose Blue Colonel and his grandaddy is Colonel Doc Bar Chex. He is a big & stout 15.2 hands. I have had Colonel for a 1 1/2 years. I bought him for trail riding. He has been camping with me 8 - 10 times & has been ridden all over our farm and the dirt roads. He does well with that but he needs more of a job or needs to be ridden weekly. He was foaled and branded at the Mahlstedt Ranch in Montanta.... (read more) I can tell he has been worked on a ranch. He knows his ques & responds quickly. My neighbor worked with him and thinks he would be a great head horse prospect. He is an easy keeper. He is excellent with the farrier, no shoes required, an easy loader, does very well with the other horses, used to being around farm equipment & dogs & loves a bath.
