Tillie is a grade, 1.5 year old, Grulla filly. Currently 14.1, will mature 15.2+. Lovely build! Her dam and sire were both non registered quarter horses. She has been doing foundation work since she was 8 months old. She leads, loads, ties, bathes, stands for farrier and vet, has excellent ground manners, and is clean legged. She’s a beautiful mover and would certainly turn heads wherever you take her. She is UTD on coggins, shots, and farrier.... (read more) She’s extremely intelligent and eager to learn, she loves to be groomed and is a “in your pocket” type horse. She’s got a cute head and gorgeous colors, she turns a golden color (pictured) in the summer and really pretty brown/grey in the winter. She’s a hard one to let go but I’ve got my own personal yearling project and just don’t have time for two. She has had extensive desensitizing and goes on several trail walks a week. She will cross ditches, and logs, goes up and down hills. And is unfazed by traffic, dogs, other horses, and farm equipment. She doesn’t mind being left behind when you take other horses away and is fine to go out by herself. She is easy to catch (either comes straight to you or one whistle will get her trotting over to you) and is very gentle when being handled and haltered. She has done long lining twice and has done well, and has had a bareback pad cinched to her as well as a toddler saddle cinched to her for walks and it didn’t phase her one bit. So if you’re looking for a future head turner that will look good moving in the ring, a dependable trail partner, or a perfect (and adorable) Christmas gift, Tillie is your girl. She’s going to be a confidence booster for anyone wanting to get into starting horses and will make someone an amazing partner.
