“Darla” is a 12 year old Belgian mare standing 17.2hh. This is a mare that’s safe for the entire family. Nothing bothers this horse. She will pick up all gaits and has a nice stop. She is light in the mouth but not overly sensitive, she responds to cues nicely without taking them too seriously. This girl is the perfect all around horse. We double on her with the small kids that aren’t able to ride alone and the children old enough to ride alone, ride her alone all around the farm.... (read more) She is a gem of a horse. Darla crosses water, bridges, rocks, roots, etc. she is traffic safe and doesn’t mind riding alongside the road if you want.
Darla also drives! She is sensible and fun. She stands when asked and walks on nicely when asked. Darla is simple and easy in every way.
