Petey is a fleabitten gray crossbred gelding.
Stands 15'2h.
His coggins say 17, I would say 15 but for argument sake he's 15-17.
This is a big gelding that's a nice ride!
He is broke to drive , we don't have the harness or cart for him so we won't try it.
He came off a guy we get a lot of horses from. They used him for lessons but he is just a little too big for the smaller kids they mostly have.... (read more)
He walk, trots, and will lope but may take a little encouragement.
They said he would take a little cross rail, we didn't try it.

He's good on the trails, easy to catch, great in the field.
Petey has a spot in the eye, it's very small. When we bought him it wasn't there, previous owners said there was nothing there (i have a pic, if you need to see it)...so I think he may have poked it on hay or something.
He's sound, but could still use some weight. He's on grain daily, been wormed, etc.. he just needs some time! He doesn't drop any feed and I don't see any sharp points. If he was fatter his price would go up! He's a hard to find size!

We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
