"Shiner" is a very laid back but surpringsly quick barrel horse. He was competing at North Texas and then at Hamilton for our High School daughter then she graduated and lost interest. He has also been ridden at several playdays in the area. He is more of a "let me show you how it works" than the rider trying to heavy hand him.

Shiner knows his job and with the right rider competes with the top. No bad habits and no bad manners.... (read more) He is such a good boy any where you take him. Shiner is an easy keeper and quite at the trailer. He does have the normal maintenance injections, which will be disclosed to potential buyer. Shiner is a big boy and he looks like he is loping the patterns but turns easy 1D/2D times. He took our daughter to finals each year she competed with him. His papers are very impressive as he is a grandson of Corona Cartel. He is currently with a trainer who is keeping him legged up until we find his next forever home.
We are not looking to flip the horse, he is too good for that. Shiner needs his next girl who wants to compete and earn that next buckle. She needs to be a confident and soft hands kinda rider.
