Mabel is a beginner friendly ride & drive draft cross mare standing 16.1h at 13 years young. She has been with one owner most of her life and well taken care of. Looking for a forever home with a new family. Traffic safe, she is excellent as a cart/buggy horse and has even cultivated a small garden. Good for the farrier. She does prefer just a walk/trot like most drafts, but can be encouraged into a canter as a beginner gains more confidence. Our family raises a variety of horses from gypsies and drafts to friesians and appaloosas. We have farms spread from Arkansas to Wisconsin and different family members specialize in different breeds. We also do some consignments, typically in the surrounding areas, therefore some horses are listed in different states. However, we have numerous references from happy customers!
