17h, Big, Stout, Pretty. Gorgeous, all-around horse! Gauc has impeccable ground matters, is a perfect gentleman, however, Gauc is not a beginner horse due to his size, and big expressive movement.... (read more) Pros: Gauc is a gentle, kind horse. He is great with his feet and bathes, is very respectful, trailers well, and has excellent ground manners and a puppy dog personality. He has been ridden in the mountains, he goes through water, crosses bridges, and makes good decisions with his feet in steep, rocky terrain. He would make a great horse for someone wanting a nice big athletic horse to use as a trail or hunting horse or could be developed into a fancy sport horse for dressage or even eventing. I was told that he came from PA and in his younger days did some foxhunting, attended the Cheshire Paper Chase, and even pulled a cart. Cons: Gauc can be a bit funny with ropes around his rump, and occasionally has crow hooped with us. We have been working on desensitization and he is showing good progress and demonstrates a thoughtful mind. If you are looking for a flashy, stout, broke horse this is your chance.
