15.1hh. Tonto is a great all around horse. He has been used as a ranch horse, trail horse and lesson Horse. He is super quiet and gentle.... (read more) Anyone that can sit on a horse and hold the reins should be able to ride him, he is that gentle! We trail rode him all over this summer. He is very experienced and seasoned on the trail. Great trail horse. He is very easy and user friendly to ride. He has a nice easy one hand neck rein, good head set and smooth trot and lope. We have done cowboy obstacles and he will do them all with ease. He is very friendly and easy to bond with. Let him sit long periods of time without being ridden and he will stay good broke and gentle. Pull his bridle off and ride him around with just a rope around his neck. He is that broke! He will ride right off on a loose rein or collect up and ride with a head set. Whether you want to ride inside an arena or outside in the open on the trails. Tonto will do both and do both really well. He would make a good lesson horse or a good horse to teach a beginner to ride or help a timid rider build their confidence.
