Sassy was started under saddle as a 2 year old and used until her 3 year old year. She sat for a few and was brought back in and we started her on calves.... (read more) then life happened and she has sat for a few more years and we have finally decided to let her go and be someone’s top priority. She has gathered cattle, ridden in an arena, had a rope swung on her, tracked the dummy, and has drug a few steers. She is easy to catch, good with all four feet, loads like a dream, stands for bathes, etc. she needs to be someone’s number one and she will make someone a very nice mare. Her 3/4 sister has placed and competed at State and Regional levels in breakaway and was also shown in reining, and many, many other events. Sassy has a huge future in front of her, she just needs someone to give her an honest chance to show her true potential. She is thick and stout with big bone and feet, good straight legs. Sound all the way around, she has never had any soundness issues or health issues. she was always ridden barefoot and never needed any injections or supplements to stay sound. She will need a refreshers course but not once was she ever broncy or mean. She should be able to go right to work and start earning her keep! I truly believe that if someone gave her a fair shot she would come out to be worth her weight in gold. She truly has a good heart and mind and ability that just needs to be put to use! We are in southern Oregon and will hold her until shipping is arranged.
