LR Mr. Freckles is a beautiful, amazing 3 year old Palomino AQHA Stallion, with Champion Foundation bloodlines . (color changes throughout the year) and we have never used any shining products nor coloring agents on him (what you see is what you get) He is currently15 hh, and weighs 1,180 #, and growing. He has a sound mind and body. Ranch raised, we started him as a 2 yr old, with Natural Horsemanship methods. “LR” is very gentle, willing to please, sensitive, and calm.... (read more) He is a fast learner and is good at whatever he has been taught. We were not planning on selling him, but we are seeing he has much more potential than just being an 'every day working ranch horse', so we are offering him for sale to a suitable home to excel to the next level. (A good home is a must). LR has the makings of a Champion, as his breeding speaks for itself. The majority of his bloodline Champions are in Reining, Cutting, Working Cow Horse, and some Champions even in Western Pleasure and All-Around.
LR has been used on cattle, is very good at it (a natural), and enjoys it. The video shows his first trip to town, going to DQ and through traffic. He never spooked at a single thing, including a car making loud, popping noises and 18 wheelers driving by. My 19 yr old daughter is his primary rider and she rides him bareback and bridleless, even though he was not officially trained to do so. He is very affectionate, loves to please and to be praised. He comes up to you in the pasture with a halter in- hand and without treats. He willingly puts his head down to halter or bridle, stands to be groomed/washed, saddled, and having feet trimmed. Does not paw. He loads and backs out of a trailer easily. He does ground work, side passes, gets gates, turns both ways, and has a nice stop and back up. (never over- worked) If you are not looking for a stallion, he is still of a fine age to have gelded. He's had a great, gentle start, and is ready to be finished and excel, in almost any direction, especially in those events listed above.
