This is "REX", a real cool, real broke, real get the job done type, SORREL QUARTER HORSE RANCH GELDING that is the kind I love. He is a handy size at 14.3 and he also rides around real handy. He is 10 years old and has been used for ranch work. He will sit down and turn around nicely with a solid one hand neck rein, he will slide stop, back up for any distance, and work a nice circle. He catches his leads and is a real nice mover. He is smooth as glass and has a real sure footed, solid way of traveling.... (read more) This gelding has been in deep water, thick brush, heavy woods, and on steep terrain. He keeps his cool and has a head full of sense with a nice handle. He moves off of leg cues, has excellent ground manners, loads, bathes, and hauls with no issues. He is a great horse to have around for the novice to the experts to enjoy and have fun on.
