Who's looking for a been there done that trail horse?
Spartan is a 15 year old 14.3 hand TW gelding with a wonderful personality. He's so sweet and cuddly on the ground and loves treats and being brushed.
He'll wait at the gate for you and is so easy to catch, lead, tie and load. He stands well to be saddled.
He's excellent for the farrier and vet. He does wear front shoes.
He is safe around dogs, cars and loud machinery.... (read more)
He will ride in an arena, around the barn, on the road, and on trails. He does have some get up and go to him, so he wouldn't be for an absolute beginner unless in an arena with a trainer.
He has a very smooth racking gait but has no problem getting up and cantering if you want. He will walk calmly on the trails with quarter horses or will get up and gait with gaited horses.
I will be picky about where he goes. He is available for on-site lease in Clyde NC 28721, off-site affordable paid lease with option to buy, or sale to a good home. Price listed on ad is sale price. Lease prices will be discussed depending on the situation.
