Introducing Rustic Soot aka Sooty

Sooty is a 12-13 year old draft cross (we assume Percheron/QH)
Beautiful dappled buckskin gelding (with amber eyes!)
15.2/15.3 hands and THICK!

Built like a TANK! Sooty has 3 beautiful gaits and can really show his floaty movement at times. Very comfy WTC. Knows leg and has some side pass. Although he is lazy sometimes, he does have a go button when asked. He would be best suited for an intermediate rider.... (read more) Although Sooty is an angel in many ways, he is sensitive at times and it takes the right, confident rider to establish a good relationship with him! He could be good for beginners under trainer supervision, he’s had beginners on him. He thrives in consistent work.

Soot can do just about anything! He goes Western or English, has been on barrels/poles and done a little jumping. Trail rides like a pro and jumps on any trailer. Bareback & a halter is his favorite. Sooty ties, cross-ties, baths, and blankets with no funny business! Great for farrier and vet. Wears front shoes. Easy keeper, stays fat on air. Lives outside 24/7 but can be stalled. UTD on everything including dentist.

Sooty does not tolerate bugs very well and has to be stalled in the summer during very hot, humid weather. Early fly sheet application and antihistamines are his best friend! Will explain further to all interested parties.
