Meet Treasure she is a 4 yr old bay roan Kentucky Mountain Saddle Mare she stands at 14.3-15 hands tall and still growing expected to finish out just over 15 hands tall. She’s very smooth at her gait and never breaks out of it she has a very nice little canter that is easy to sit to. She knows how to move off of your leg and has a nice neck rein.
She does excellent out on the trails she’ll cross water, bridges, and logs. She doesn’t really mind much out on the trail she’s a solid mount that can tackle the steep hills and she’s sure footed for picking her way down.... (read more) She’s dog safe as you can see in the video in fact she has given her furry little friend a ride here and there when he tires out.
She’s a fun little mare to ride as she has that nice smooth racking gait and she’ll stay in it as long as you want her to. For her speeds she has a faster walk a medium paced gait and a slow little canter. All of her gaits are very smooth and easy to sit to. She has an excellent neck rein and responds right away to whatever you ask of her. She’ll step over logs or she’ll do an easy smooth little jump if you like to jump logs.
She has great ground manners she’s good for picking up her feet, stands still for tacking, and stands good for mounting. She loads right up in the trailer and backs right out. She is excellent for bathing, clipping, and she’s great for blanketing. She’s a very sensible mare has a curious personality and learns quick. She’s friendly and easy to catch.
She is just an awesome little trail machine with a willing to please and learn attitude. She leaves home alone and will separate out on the trail. She’s great with traffic doesn’t mind the cars one bit. She is a very fun little mare and easy to get along with as long as you know how to ride. She is current on her Coggins, vet check, dewormings, and vaccines. Just give a call two three 16 seven 07 one zero 1
