Oakley is a 9-10yr old Paint Gelding. Standing at 15.1hh. Super friendly. If you want a beer riding horse, he’s your guy. He’s been ridden on trails, through water, tarps, on the road, through McDonald’s, etc. I wouldn’t say he’s beginner safe but you could lead your kids around on him. He’s intermediate/advanced safe. Picks up all fours, stands to be tacked, tied, groomed, loads and trailers like a pro.... (read more) Gets along with all horses. Would be suitable for poles, barrels, or jumping. He knows some tricks like bowing, lining up at mounting block. He lunges good. Up to date on coggins and vaccines. Currently barefoot but has been shoed in the past. 9/10yr olds have ridden him bareback with just a halter and lead rope and he did great! Can be spicy if you don’t keep up on riding, other than that he’s an angel. Has been ridden by all levels of riders. He dosent run when spooked, he just plants his feet! Has also been used to give some beginner lessons on lead rope to 5/6yr olds! You can sit under him, crawl between his feet, he literally will not move! Super smart and gentle guy.
