Captain is your man. He’s a stunning blue roan gelding, with an amazing mane and tail. He’s eye catching and kind!
14yo grade gelding. Standing about 15.1 and solid built. He’s got a fresh set of 4 shoes on him. Great with his feet, stands tied, easy to saddle, bridle, bathe, blanket, load and haul. Extremely quiet in the trailer.... (read more) Load him up and get a bite to eat before going out in the rough terrain to gather some cattle. He was previously used on the ranch, he loves and seeks a job. He is not a slow poke around horse, however he is absolutely fun to ride and has slow smooth gaits. No mean bone in his body. No buck bolt rear. Cinch him up and get on. He’s fancy in the arena, collects up very pretty, nice stop, turn around, picks up his leads immediately. He’d make a jam up gymkhana horse he’s broke enough to just take out and do the patterns. I’ve taken him down extremely steep slippery rocky hills. He does not bat an eye. Not spooky. Really smooth gaits. Easy keeper no maintenance, no know injuries. No known health issues. I really enjoy riding this horse, I like my work horses. While he is forward anyone who confident enough to ask him what they want him to do can handle him. The video shows exactly what he is. He can be a bit barn sour if he’s next to a bunch of horses, it’s not horrible. If you confidently check him up and ask him to do what you want he will no hesitation do what’s asked. He’s been rode down the road by cars, bikes, flags, tractors, etc. He is listed for an uncomplicated sale. My arena is going to be getting torn apart this week, making it bigger. Along with the rain he will more than likely sell off of video. If he doesn’t when it clears I will bring him to the trail course price will increase. This is a really nice horse for the price.
