Additional Comments
Buttercup is a 18y/o 15.3 hands, Appaloosa Mare.
Has been ridden by all ages. Buttercup is the trail queen. She will go through anything. We have camped with her over night. She does not like to be left behind at the campsite when her buddies get to go out on the trail.
Buttercup is strong headed. She does need someone with a firm hand as she can test her rider when she doesn’t want to do something. We have learned that she does not care for arena work.... (read more) Yes we have taken her to shows and we have managed but she required a firm hand. Buttercup will canter all day long on the trail, but can cow kick/buck in the arena when she doesn’t want to canter. (This only happens when my 15y/o rides her, I think she knows that she can get away with it). Buttercup stands for the farrier, and to trailer. She loads great! She is at the top of the pecking order in the pasture. She likes her food!!! She can stay on hay and be just fine. Buttercup has been rode down the road and in Christmas parades she does great! Located north of Edon OH
Buyer must pay in cash and come in person checks will not be accepted and will not wait for it to be mailed. Serious buyers only.
Wanting to move soon, so make me an offer. I also have a 22 year old registered quarter horse available. She needs weight put on her. She is a hard keeper in my eyes with weight we have struggled since we bought her. She has been used for contesting 4h trail riding and has been taken through Christmas parade. She will side step past the announcer.
Would sell both together for $3500 obo
