Additional Comments
"Casper" is a great partner for trails, riding to the dollar store, sticking a kid on for a lesson, dragging logs, really whatever. He is NOT to go to anyone who has intentions to barrel race or polebend. He gets way too hot and stressed. Roping is a different story, he's a great rope horse. I've had Casper since I started him as a 3 year old. He has been my main mount for if the cows get out, taking dead critters to the woods, checking fence, whatever.... (read more) I am selling him because I don't have the time for more than one keeper horse and my filly who is more my size is ready to step up. He rides one handed or two, does best with contact. English or western. He can be fresh and excitable outside, especially when he's been off. Leads, ties, loads, good for vet & farrier. Currently barefoot, only needs shoes if you're riding on the road a lot like I do part of the year. Easy keeper. The only time he's ever been lame that I can remember he stepped on a nail which just went into the frog (thankfully). After being cleared by a vet he was back to normal work 2 weeks later. He loves attention, and kids, but respects your space. I will be picky with where he goes, because he is a great horse for the right person. I've done dressage, intense trail riding, saddleseat lessons (for a 10yo), small jumps, roping, dragging logs to a fire, riding miles on the road, literally almost anything.
