Hailey is a beautiful sorrel AQHA mare
14 years old
Big stocky mare with a good disposition
Loads ties good with feet barefoot no problem
No soundness issues
Teeth recently done and up to date on fall shots
We bought Hailey under the impression she was pregnant.
Sadly she is open and is not but she's one heck of a good barrel horse and pretty easy to ride.
I'm in no rush to sell this mare but she doesn't fit into my lesson program and she's to nice of a barrel horse for me to rotate my lessons kids on and off of.... (read more)
Hailey has amazing training and knows her job ran a 17.1 on her 1st pattern in over a year with a rider who had never been on her.
Walked right into the arena no problems.
Hailey also has done quite a few trail rides nothing bothers her Crosses water Traffic safe and not spooky what so ever.

Now Hailey is an amazing mare with amazing blood lines and a good barrel horse but she does come with one issue and that's a rearing problem when out alone on trail rides or when asked to do something she doesn't want to do. I personally have not had any issues with her rearing but the kids have had problems when they tried to take her out alone on the trails. And I don't want anyone to get hurt so I am being as transparent with this issue as possible.

She had not ever offered to rear in the arena or at a show with us ever. She did an entire Gymkhana and walked into the ally way for all 6 events no problem head down calm and collected.

She has a very smooth lope and a very nice trot. She can spin side pass open gates close gates. Neck reins backs started on poles and other Gymkhana events. Pretty automatic on the barrels doesn't need much but if you push her she can go. Not a barrel knocker and no gate issues. Gets along great with other horses doesn't kick bite or buck. Good with kids and has done a few lessons.

Her price reflects her issue and I am open to reasonable offers I just want her in a forever home she's been bounced around a few times and deserves a home where she can bond with her human. She would make a fantastic horse for a handy kid or adult who wants something a little faster to keep up with the faster horses without breaking the bank.
