Santana was Scottsdale, National Champion Show Horse In Hand, as a yearling. He is out of National champion, AO Breeze, and TA Mariella (daughter of the legendary Kordelas). Santana started his groundwork as a yearling and progressed through the advanced Clinton Anderson program. He has been desensitized to leaf blowers, equipment, ponied on trails, driven in a harness, has a certificate of police and fire training (sirens, smoke bombs, and led through fire).... (read more) He was first sat on last September as a 4 1/2 year old because I wanted to give him the chance to grow. When I got on him for the first time, there was no buck - we just rode! Aside from being drop dead gorgeous, he has a really kind demeanor. I think his greatest attributes are his personality, athleticism, and his trainability. He just came home from 90 days with professional Arabian trainer, Kevin Price, of Price Performance Horses.. Keven told me that he is one of the favorite horses he's ever worked with because he just tries so hard, and quickly retains what he's learned.
