This is "Mr. Yams", a handy broke sorrel Quarter Pony that has been used for ranch work, been successful at the team pennings and sortings, and been on lots of trails. He has been ridden by youth riders and novice equestrians with no issues. He is 11 years old and stands 13.3 hands tall. He is thick made and stout making it no problem for him to carry an adult sized rider. He has an nice handle, he will sit down and turnaround, does nice rollbacks, he sidepasses, and backs up for any distance.... (read more) He is a handy horse that lopes circles, catches his leads, and stops on whoa. He is a great horse for any level rider as he is obedient, well trained, and well broke. He will cross water, he is traffic safe, he rides out alone, rides double, and bareback. He has excellent ground manners, stands tied, bathes, hauls, and loads with no issues. He is a great horse to have around whether it's for trail riding, getting in the cattle, going to the team sortings, or going to the fun shows.
