Butter is a smart, willing, and athletic partner who can truly go in any direction. He enjoys work and moves out nicely with a soft fluid trot, along with a balanced and smooth way of moving.... (read more) He has a rocking-chair canter, a nice stop, straight back up, and balanced and smooth haunch turns. He is well on his way to go on with in a discipline and has completed a recent 60 day training program based around sensory, outside riding, and body position and balance. Butter is a natural athlete and will be a beautiful competitor. He has a gorgeous long trot for western and English riders!
Butter has been on many outside rides both alone and in groups. He also has been ponied and does well in a group ride and just goes with the flow. He has been ridden with ongoing traffic, tractors, dogs, over bridges, through water, and will make a terrific outside riding mount. He is strong, goes up and down steep terrain with ease, and enjoys the work.
