If elegant, dark and handsome is your thing I would like to introduce Jessie James! Jessie is a 16hh jet black gelding with not even a speck of white on him. This boy is the life of the party and has the looks to match! He has a beautiful thick wavy mane and tail. He’s about as handsome as you’re going to find. Jessie is loaded with personality. He’s a fun loving guy who knows all the tricks. He can sit, lay, bow and even give hugs.... (read more) I’m sure if you handed him a broom he would even sweep the barn aisle! His manners are A+! Jessie is quick to learn new things and talk about a horse who wants to please. Jessie is a 5 year old Friesian sport horse. He comes equipped with a quiet walk a smooth trot and a canter so smooth and balanced you would be hard pressed to find it on a quarter horse. He will move thru all the paces with effortless transitions. This boy listens so well you don’t even need tack to ride him. He’s very in tune with his person and will listen to your seat and leg pressure. Jessie has been on hundreds of trail and city rides and good luck spooking him. He’s as unflappable as they come. Jessie has been in costume parades with kids and shown in the hunter ring. He has worked many events such as birthday parties and parades showing off his tricks and giving rides. Jessie has pulled a carriage both in town and on the farm. He’s been fox hunted on and exposed to the hounds. This boy has a resume a mile long and is a true example of what a sport horse should be. He rides English as well and even jumps around. Jessie has been ridden by riders from 5 years old to 85 years old. He is a friend to all both humans and horses. He would be a fantastic mounted patrol horse, hunt horse, working equitation horse, or even just that all around user friendly family horse.
