Scooter is just waiting to be your child’s trail buddy! We hardly ever find ponies of this size that are this calm and gentle and we would keep him in a second if we were looking for another little pony. He is fantastic with beginners and will take care of his rider. Young kids have ridden him all over on trail - even riding out on a cattle ranch to help out the big horses. He hops in the trailer and gets along well with the other horses. We have had him in a stall and out on pasture with a handful of other horses without issue.... (read more)
Our kids have ridden him bareback into the pond, ridden him around in the water, then jumped off of him and climbed back on again while he stood waiting. Georgia has ridden Scooter all over the property, and he’s carefully taken her over the stairs, on the teeter totter, and up and down the stone steps without missing a step or batting an eye. He’s just not fazed by much and will take care of your kids like he has ours.
Scooter has been exposed to dogs, cars, trucks, tractors, quads, UTVs, leaf blowers, birds taking off, loud noises, tarps, balls, flags, and ropes all over his body and feet. He easily crosses water, steps over downed logs, and goes over obstacles.
This pony is a really fun little guy and you won’t want to miss out! The kids walk him around like a dog and Georgie will brush and groom him for hours. He would make a great lead line pony. If you have followed us for a while this guy is just like Huckleberry and Maple Syrup and you’ve seen all the crazy things our kids have done on them!
Scooter has been pre-vet checked and is up to date on vaccines, teeth, worming, and farrier. No maintenance.
