Smart 15h Grey Gelding

Nickel is looking for his very own person.
He is a very affectionate grey Arabian type gelding with a dark mane. He is 9 years old, 15 hands tall, and has been with me 4-5 years. When I got him, he needed to gain weight, trust and grow and fill out. Now he is a happy, goofy, curious minded, into everything young horse ready for new adventures.

I’ve done some training on the ground, saddled him up, and did some bareback riding, but he’s not been properly broke to ride yet.... (read more) Nickle has good ground manners, ties, trailers, etc., and is UTD on everything. He needs regular farrier work because he’s got a mild club foot, but he’s been doing good with glue on shoes and has been shod in the past.

Nickle is out on pasture with our other geldings. He likes his shelter but is not happy to be stalled for long periods of time. He is in the middle of the pecking order and loves to play with the other horses, so he wouldn’t do well as an only horse. He also loves water!!!

If you are looking for a fun companion/pasture buddy or a project for this spring he could become a fun little ride with a patient and soft hand.
