Crackers is the the coolest guy around. Super fun to ride, tons of handle. He is very gentle and kind. We just love Crackers.... (read more) He is friendly, easy to catch and the one everybody wants to ride to do a job and have fun on. He is very cowy, whether its sorting calves or being handy with a rope, in the branding pen or out on the ranch he's our first pick for the job. He has had top cutting training, been started on the heel side and seen many miles on the ranch plus he is safe enough for the kids to ride and enjoy. Crackers rides bridle-less, slides to a stop, has an excellent turn around and will lope out of his tracks slow and easy. You can let him set, pull him out and just go for a ride. Whether you want to take him to the arena, to the ranch, up the mountain or just down the trail he's the guy for you. Crackers has been started on mounted shooting and will ride English too! Crackers is great for a bath, stands well for the farrier and vet. He loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well. Not only is Crackers an exceptional ranch, trail and family horse he is royally bred, sired by the great Metallic Cat himself a 52+ Million Dollar sire and out of an own daughter of Smart Little Lena going back to Dual Pep on the bottom. All Metallic Cat foals are NCHA Super Stakes, NRCHA Stallion Stakes, Breeder’s Invitational, PCCHA, Riata Buckle, Gold Buckle Futurities, Valley Equine Super Stallion Incentive. Crackers was purchased by some good friends of ours as a yearling and then we have owned him for a year so he has always had excellent care and we know all of his history. Crackers is up to date on worming, vaccinations, and dental. He comes with complete vet records and has had a basic health exam done. He has a current coggins and all paperwork will be provided for him to travel to his new home. We are glad to help arrange shipping and we welcome you to do PPEs.
