Dakota is a 6 year old appaloosa gelding standing at a perfect height of 14.1 hands tall with all the bone you could ask for. Dakota is undoubtedly an absolutely gorgeous horse to look at, but don’t let all the good looks and charm deceive you into thinking he is a “one trick pony”, Dakota is as punchy as they come and is all about business. If you are wanting something that has all the heart, grit, and determination to make it through pushing cows on those long days of processing, he is the gelding for the job. Dakota is extremely athletic and rides around very quick footed or he can take you on a trail ride through the woods and down the dirt roads. With the abilities that he possesses, I believe that he would also be a great prospect to make into a super cool heel or breakaway horse. He is the perfect size and has the abilities to excel in that field as well. Although Dakota is perfect for a life of using on the ranch, his unique and flashy appearance would be perfect for a more “center of attention” type job as well. If catching peoples eye and dropping their jaws is what you desire to do, Dakota can achieve that with the first step out of the trailer whether it be at a trail ride, parade, or a movie set! This guy has all the eye appeal you could dream of and is sure to be the show stopper anywhere you take him! With his young age, stunning appearance, and unwavering will to learn new things, there is no limit to the opportunities and success that will come in the future for Dakota.
Dakota is up to date on his yearly vaccinations, coggins, teeth float, and hoof trim. He is currently barefoot all the way around and has great hooves! He requires no maintenance whatsoever and is 100% ready to go to his new owner. Dakota gets along great in a pasture setting and comes running to the barn the second he hears the feed start pouring. He enjoys a bath and loves to be sprayed with the water hose even in the pasture. He loads and unloads very easily and will stand tied like a gentleman at the trailer.
