Let me introduce my most favorite horse is the barn right now… Stitch is a 2020 model Percheron/QH blue roan gelding standing right at 16 hands tall!... (read more) He has all the foot, bone, shape, and size you could ask for! He has a kind eye and a super sweet disposition. Not only does he have the looks but he rides the very best! Sitch transistions smoothly into his walk, trot, and lope. He stays collected and is an absolute gorgeous mover! He will pivot both ways, breaks at the pole, has a phenomenal stop, and backs nicely. Stitch is also a trail riding machine. He goes absolutely anywhere you point him, takes his time, and is as sure footed as you can ask a horse to be! He will go through all the trail obstacles including the teeter totter. He has been rode through town and is unphased by traffic or loud noises. We rode him over a 1/2 mile long highway bridge with 20mph winds, cars flying by and not once did he bat an eye! Stitch also drives double or single! He stands still to be harnessed, hooks up with no issues and goes right down the high way without a bobble. At only 4 years old we have put this gelding through more situations than most horses see in a life time. He has never once offered to buck, bite, rear or kick! But being only 4 we do not recommend him for little kids, or beginner riders. That isn’t to say we wouldn’t personally put a kid on him, but we do not want to advertise him as such just due to his age. Stitch does have one cosmetic scar on his front left coronary band. It does not affect him in anyway and he is 100% sound. PPE are more than welcome! He has no bad habits, no vices, easy keeper, up to date on all cares! This is a phenomenal crossbred gelding that a family will truly enjoy!
