Peaches is a sweet little mare who came to me for a 30-day evaluation after her owner purchased her at an online auction. Since she's been with me, Peaches has proven to be a pleasure to work with—she's a bit shy about being caught but is coming around nicely, especially if treats are involved!
Peaches is easy to lead, loves her scratches, has strong hooves, stands well when tied, and loads willingly into the trailer.... (read more) Her owner has decided that Peaches would thrive best with a more experienced and confident rider as she is older & only rides a handful of times a year. Peaches is a smooth ride out on the trails or in the arena, happy to go solo or with a group.
Rider & tack weight total limit : 140lbs
*I do have a 14'' bob marshall treeless saddle I can sell with her for $650
Pros: Great compact size, level-headed on the trail, not spooky, strong hooves (is barefoot)
Cons: May occasionally hump up on a cold day if she's been out of work but is not a bronc.
Cloudiness in her eyes causing some vision impairment.

Offering foundational training for performance horses, while addressing individual issues, utilizing a wholistic approach based on equine psychology, physiology, and biomechanics. These sound principles benefit all equine partners for ANY discipline. I have experience with draft crosses, stock horses, and ponies.
The basics we work towards with each horse are forward, soft, supple, & willing. We encourage curiosity in all of our horses and exposing them without making them dull, and sensitive without being afraid. Horses are typically trailered to different places 2+ times a week (Depending on time of year & weather) but are worked with a minimum of 5 sessions per week. We haul to local barns to ride in an indoor and outdoor arenas & trail rides to expose them to different terrain & obstacles creating a more versatile and confident mount. The benefit of exposure to real life outside can’t be overstated.
Rest assured, your horse will come back home a better horse than when it was, I keep communication lines open and up to date as well as videos and photos of our experiences.
