Additional Comments
Guinness Dun It (aka GUINNY) is a kind and loving young mare. She is a total sweetheart and loves people, just like her sire.

She is sired by a Perlino Dun AQHA stallion named MY ALIBI DUN IT. Her dam was a registered APHA named SHAMELESS FIRSTZIP. Transfer papers were never signed by seller of the mare and we lost the papers in a house fire. The mare passed due to colic surgery complications. This was her last foal.... (read more) I will try and get copies of all papers, etc. for the sire and at least get this mare registered half quarter horse or quarter pony registry. She can also be registered in the buckskin horse registry.
Now, back to Guinny. Guinny was started under saddle with a local "trainer." And after several months of "training" she had not come along very far, at all.... So we brought her home. In the few months we have had her back home, she has been ponied through the hills and has been ridden by novice riders just around the farm. She doesn't know much but is getting better. She doesn't mind most things and is very intuitive to what you are doing around her. She is up to date on all shots including WNV and influenza, and gets dewormed regularly. She also gets treated with psyllium once a month since we do feed on the ground often. She loads into a trailer perfectly, she stands decently, she hates baths and we have worked on it over the summer and she definitely doesn't freak out now, just kind of lifts her head and avoids in near her face. She is good for the farrier and likes our new farrier (man) better than the last person (a woman).
She has never been injured or sick and is towards the bottom of the pecking order. She will come when you whistle for feeding time.
Guinny is short... she's about 13.1hh right now and even though her parents are much larger, she just didn't grow much after we weaned her early due to her dam's passing. Guinny was 4.5 months old when her dam passed.
She is filling out nicely and has made leaps and bounds of progress with her training since being home. But, alas, I am not a horse trainer, we just have been working with her as if she were one of our senior horses and she hasn't minded at all. We go slow and are soft handed with her and it seems to be working well.
We lost our house to a fire on September 6th, 2024. It has been difficult trying to deal with insurance. We are putting Guinny up for sale honestly because she deserves better. She deserves a human of her own, or someone to finish her training so she can find that right human.
We are flexible on the price, but I do know she is of value due to her amazing temperament and potential. We are open to payments as well and possible trades but only for cattle or inanimate items.
Guinny was born on March 17, 2021 (St. Patty's Day) and has been a pleasure her whole life.
Picture is of her slicked out this summer. She is the same but now fluffy.
