“Teddy” is a cute Haflinger gelding standing 13.3-14.0 hands high and 9yrs old. This cute guy has great barn and ground manners. He cross ties, ties to a trailer, ties to a tree camping, he stands for the farrier and loves to be groomed and pampered. Teddy is quiet enough for nearly anyone to handle him. He lives outside most of the time but is also happy inside and stands in a stall quietly. Teddy is turned out in a mixed heard and gets along well with everyone, including the annoying youngsters!... Under saddle, Teddy prefers to walk but will will up the pace if he needs to. He crosses moving water, bridges, mud, roots and more! He is a solid trail mount that will take the lead with confidence, ride in the middle or follow behind. He doesn’t mind other horses riding closely behind or beside him. This guy will hack out English or western without a problem. Teddy could use a little desensitizing with bags. That is his only flaw.
