Steele is the kind of horse I search high and low to find. He has good looks, a kind people loving mentality, as well as a huge amount of ability and experience. He has been used on the ranch by riders of all ages and is solid and steady every day. Steele will turn up and work for the experienced riders but stay safe and quiet for the beginners. (read more) As a head horse, he is solid, seasoned under a wide variety of riders and ready to go win. Steele scores outstanding and can really run the strong steers down, but continues to have plenty of rate for the lower numbers. He is easy to handle cattle on and faces sharp. Steele is gentle every day of the week, but isn’t numb or lazy. He has wonderful ground manners, will come across the pasture to be caught, and is great to shoe, bathe, clip, tie, haul etc. Come try him out for yourself.
